Tom Holland Swings Out! Spider Man Brand New Day Officially Wraps Filming and We Are FREAKING OUT
Break out the celebratory churros, Marvel mavens, because this is NOT a drill! Our favorite web slinger has officially hung up the suit for now. That’s right, Tom Holland has officially wrapped principal photography on the HIGHLY anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Spider Man Brand New Day!
And OMG, the wait is going to be actual torture.
The major news dropped straight from the director's chair. The brilliant Destin Daniel Cretton, who you know from the absolute banger that was Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, took to social media to announce that cameras stopped rolling on December 20. He posted a simple, epic photo of a clapboard with the final scene number, sending the entire internet into a complete and total meltdown.
Mark your calendars, set your alarms, and start planning your cosplay, because this is the date you need to know: July 31 2026. That’s when Spider Man Brand New Day is set to swing into theaters and basically take all of our money. We are SO ready.

Which is exactly why the title Spider Man Brand New Day is giving us SO much life! It’s a direct nod to a famous and controversial storyline in the comics where Peter’s life gets a major overhaul. This is not just Spider Man 4; it's a whole new era for the character in the MCU.

With filming wrapped, the next year and a half will be all about post production magic—VFX, editing, scoring, you know the deal. But it also means the rumor mill is about to go into overdrive, and you know we are here for it.
