On December 16 a date that will now go down in fandom history Feige officially hyped Chris Hemsworth’s return as Thor in the universe shattering upcoming film Avengers Doomsday. And when we say hyped we mean he basically confirmed our favorite God of Thunder is about to be THE central figure in the fight of their lives. We are talking a KEY role people.
Sources close to the studio are buzzing that Feige’s comments point to Thor being the emotional core and the heavy hitter the Avengers will need to face their biggest threat yet. After the more comedic turn in Thor Love and Thunder it sounds like we are getting the epic warrior Thor back in the driver's seat and we are SO here for it. Now we have a date. The countdown is on. March 2026 is the target and the reunion of the Asgardian princes is set to be one of the most emotional moments in Marvel history.
How will Thor react to seeing his brother again not as a villain but as the savior of all reality. Will they fight alongside each other one last time. The theories are already exploding online.
